Steam Reviews: Fantastic comedy

Steam has slowly been evolving over the years since its release. When it first launched it was simply a program by which you could launch Half Life 2 and Counter Strike. It didn’t have a working friends list, it didn’t have an effective store page and was slow and buggy. In fact, if not for the massive success of Half Life 2 and the popularity of Counter Strike: Source we may well have abandoned Steam a long time ago. Yet here we are; but what has changed?
Steam has slowly moved towards a more user driven experience. Players can curate their own lists of games that they recommend to friends and strangers, they can vote for what games they’d like to see on Steam in the future and, as of late last year, they can review games that they own for other players to comment on and learn from. Often times the reviews are quite useful but more often than not they are simply there for comedy. And they’re pretty damn funny.
